I'm Ron Moore with today's Bible Minute.
It's normal to ask "Why?" when we go through the inevitable challenges of life. If we could see how the pain fits into God's picture, that would go a long way in the healing process. Asking "Why?" is one thing, but bringing accusations is another. And that's something Job learned in our passage today.
In Job 40:1-4, "The LORD said to Job: 'Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!' Then Job answered the LORD: 'I am unworthy--how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.'"
Accusing God of wrongdoing strikes at His very character. So, when you are going through a difficult time, check your heart. Are you living with questions--that's normal--or accusations? That's dangerous.
