If You Complain, You Remain

in Christian Living/Situational Faith/Trust

Here's David Chadwick with today's Bible Minute.

If you're going through a difficult time today, let me ask you to go to Numbers, the 13th chapter and examine the Israelites in the wilderness. They were going through a difficult time but they didn't like the way God was treating them at all.

They started complaining and God knew this truth: that what comes out of your mouth shows the condition of your heart. And their words of complaining only showed the pernicious problem of unbelief within. God knew this truth: If you complain, you remain. So with their complaining God just made them lap over and over again in the wilderness. Make sure you stop your complaining.

If you complain, you remain. Fill your heart with faith. Believe in God's promises and know that He is faithful. Stop complaining. You want to stop your remaining, and keep moving toward your promised land.
