Loneliness and God's Presence

in God's Care Relationships

Here's David Chadwick with today's Bible Minute.

Deuteronomy 31:8 reads, "It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." All of us have times of loneliness; we feel disconnected from people. We wonder, What in the world is going on? And during those times, we need to be reminded that God's antidote to our loneliness is His personal, promised presence.

He says to us, "He will never leave us or forsake us." We need to remind ourselves that Jesus' last words were, "I will be with you always, even till the close of the age."

So during those times of loneliness, during those dark days when you think no one cares, remember Jesus cares. Because, His great promise is, He will be with us forever.
