TKO: Temptation Knocked Out

How long do you think you would last in the boxing ring against the heavyweight champ? Probably not very long.

While we may dream otherwise, it's foolish to think any of us would stand a chance against a trained champion unless we'd had extensive preparation.

Yet every day, we face a similar fight with a far greater foe, Satan--and most of us are just not prepared to step in the ring! We may dream big, but our chances of standing up to the foe and his temptations are pretty small...unless we're properly prepared.

With this Meet with God, we want to take some of the guesswork out of your daily spiritual battle with temptation and the strategies of Satan, with help from some Old Testament heroes. Think of this study as your personal trainer encouraging you to get into shape, showing you the ropes and teaching you the moves you need to know to knock out the tempter and his temptations.

This study addresses:

Why Fight Temptation: See what's at stake and why you need to fight temptation.

Surviving the Subtle Attack: Learn to recognize the strategies Satan uses and what you can do to stand firm.

Standing Back Up: Discover what it takes to get back on your feet when you fail and fall.

Not Against Flesh and Blood: To fight this spiritual battle, you need the right weapons and the best help.
