This Month's Study - Daniel: Trusting the Faithful God

The Book of Daniel is unique in that it's divided between historical matters and prophetic words. Daniel is also an apocalyptic book. Daniel in the Old Testament and Revelation in the New Testament are the clearest biblical examples of apocalyptic writing, unveiling future events that God has promised.

As we study Daniel, we consider this central theme: That God is sovereign and the world and world events are in His hands. He is also everlastingly faithful. Even today, His faithfulness extends to those who, like Daniel, place their faith and hope in Him.

We may not advise a king or dream futuristic dreams as Daniel did, or even spend a night with the lions, but we can be confident that, regardless of what happens in life, heaven rules.
