Job Description

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to install, configure and service PC hardware and software; support networks and related IT resources; maintain network hardware and software including corporate e-mail systems; maintain the building's telecommunications system and public address system.

Major Responsibilities

JOB ASSIGNMENTS - The technology available to staff will be reliable, available and serviceable in order to meet the needs of the ministry.

STAFF SUPPORT - Staff will receive courteous and prompt service according to their needs and the ministry's priorities at any given time. 

TELEPHONE & PA - The telecommunication systems at Back to the Bible will be kept in excellent condition and will operate at maximum efficiency with minimal downtime, subject to budget constraints.

Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A)High School diploma and two (2) years of related college education;
B)Two (2) or more years experience;
C)Any equivalent combination of both education and experience.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
A)Must have experience with Windows Operating Systems (Installing Operating System education/certification a plus), Application Software maintenance in a networking environment and a thorough understanding of PC hardware and MS Windows operating systems.
B)Must be a self starter, have an analytical mind for problem solving, a propensity for accuracy, an ability to solve problems under pressure, and an ability to work with people; Must be able to accept constructive criticism and the ability to work well with others; Must have the ability to follow directions and follow through with projects, task deadlines and assignments.
