Purpose


To keep Back to the Bible’s Internet and Intranet up-to date, user friendly and in working order.

Major Responsibilities


COMPUTER PROGRAMMING - Design, program, document and maintain various Internet and Intranet initiatives.

MAINTAINANCE - Provide ongoing maintenance and documentation to the programming aspects of Back to the Bible’s Internet Initiatives. Every installation must be documented in an installation log.


WEB CONTENT - Load new content and graphics for all Back to the Bible’s internet and intranet Web sites keeping them constantly up to date; assist with Web page lay outs in ways that are user friendly and pleasing to our Web site visitors; Assist in the creation and development of graphics for our Web sites that look sharp, download fast and are integrated into the page layout design. Communicate Back to the Bible’s vision visually from concept to live Web site for all Back to the Bible’s internet and intranet sites; designs should help to keep people interested in our sites and encourage them to come back for more.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
(A) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
(B) Four or more years of experience in web design and development;

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
(A) Must have an understanding of how to design and implement computer programs from scratch.
(B) Must have a working knowledge of multiple programming languages and technologies. Must also have the ability to learn and adapt to new programs.
(C) Must have the ability to accept constructive criticism, and the ability to work well with others. Must have the ability to follow directions and follow through with project and task deadlines and assignments.
