Biblical Vitality
We believe the Bible is the divinely revealed and spiritually electrifying guide to knowing and loving God and participating in his mission for the world. Jesus himself used Scripture plentifully, confidently, and effectively. Thus, like Jesus, we base our ministry on the life-giving water of God’s word.

Personal Spirituality
We believe that true spirituality is rooted in a person’s faithful embrace of Jesus through life's difficult twists and turns. Although spiritual formation is best achieved in communion with other believers, it cannot be achieved for us by other believers. Thus, our ministry offers biblically-based resources that help a person seek Christ personally.

Contextual Sensitivity
We believe God communicates to humans through various means, adapting to the technological advancements of each era. God’s word can be conveyed through digital media today just as it was conveyed through papyrus scrolls and parchment books in the past. Thus, our ministry offers a broad variety of media through which a person can become more spiritually fit.

Gospel Centrality
We believe the gospel—the good news that Jesus died for the forgiveness of sins, rose triumphantly from the grave, and will return one day to make everything right. God is redeeming the world through Jesus Christ as people are saved from their sins and enter into fellowship with him. Thus, our ministry equips Christians to share with others what they’re learning and experiencing.

Learner Centricity
We believe that a learner-centered approach to spiritual fitness is a highly effective complement to traditional approaches. Each person is unique in meaningful ways, with varying backgrounds, circumstances, and spiritual challenges. Thus, our ministry offers each person a spiritual assessment and, correspondingly, a customized spiritual fitness experience that helps with their individual strengths and weaknesses.

What We Believe
At Back to the Bible We Believe...

In one God with three distinct persons—God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and King over all that exists.

Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven where he now reigns, and will return one day to renew the world.

God offers salvation as a gift to those who will trust and embrace his Son, Jesus Christ.

The Christian life offers us newfound freedom and joy as we learn to love Jesus and follow his way without compromise.

To those who follow Jesus, God offers the Holy Spirit to guide us, empower us, and correct our path when necessary.

The Bible is God’s revealed Word, and thus is reliable, trustworthy, and life-giving.

God created the church to be the “body of Jesus” and thus an extension of his character; through it, we experience spiritual formation and learn to accurately embody Jesus and his mission.

When Jesus returns one day to renew the world, all humans will receive their due; those who have trusted and embraced him will spend eternity with him in our renewed world, and those who have not will spend eternity separated from him.
