“Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: Instruction will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations.”

ISAIAH 51:4

Family Quest

Have everyone make a list of words that describe the words just and justice. Now go back and circle each word that applies to God’s justice.

Talk It Out

· How is God “just”?

· Is God’s justice different from the way humans are “just”?

· How is His justice a light to the nations?

Parent-Child Connection

Just is not a word that most kids are familiar with. It’s important for kids to understand that there is a difference between human justice and God’s justice. His ways are pure and just. Human ways are often complicated by personal agendas and frustration. Help your children to know that even though we can be let down by humans, God will never let us down.

Talk to God

As you pray, encourage your child to (1) thank Jesus that He is a just God and (2) ask the Lord to help him be just.
