Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 91:1

Family Quest

Play a game of hide-and-seek.

Talk It Out

· Where would you go if you were scared and needed a safe place to hide?

· How can you find “shelter” in “the shadow of the Almighty”? How can He be your hiding place?

· How is God our Father almighty? How does this image make you feel?

Parent-Child Connection

Again, this is a great opportunity for you to share a personal story from your life. Let your kids know of a time when you were scared or lonely and God helped you. It is important to let them know that things don’t always work out the way we think they should. His ways are always good, but often different from our expectations.

Talk to God

As you pray, encourage your child to (1) thank Jesus for His love and strength and (2) ask the Lord to help her run to Him for safety and protection.
