But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

ROMANS 5:8

Family Quest

Take turns sharing the last good thing you did for someone else.

Talk It Out

· Why did you do something good for someone else?

· How did they respond? How did it make you feel?

· What did Jesus do for you? What has He done for you today?

Parent-Child Connection

Being thankful for the blessings in our lives should prompt us to share with others. This response doesn’t always come naturally and needs to be taught to kids at an early age. Sharing within the family sets a good example for how we should pass our blessings on to those outside of our homes. Sharing is an excellent way to say thank you.

Talk to God

As you pray, encourage your child to (1) thank Jesus for coming to earth to show us grace by bringing us salvation, and (2) ask the Lord for help to be more like Him by doing good for others, even without being asked.
