Hey, I'm Ron Moore with the Bible Minute.
Many people spend a lot of time fretting over God's "specific" will regarding important personal decisions. But we are not in a position to hear God clearly regarding his "specific" will if we are not following his "revealed" will.
Here it is in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: "It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God."
The principle is straightforward. Start with what God has revealed to be His will--the specifics will follow.
