Be Strong Be Courageous

in Doubt/Fear Faith/Trust

Hey this is Ron Moore with today's Bible Minute.

After Moses died, the assignment of leading Israel into the Promised Land was on Joshua's shoulders. The weight was heavy!

But in Joshua 1:9, we read these words of encouragement from God: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

God's instruction is clear, isn't it? "Be strong!" "Be courageous!" "Don't be afraid!" "Don't be discouraged!" God's commands are not without a foundation. In fact, He is the foundation!

Wherever you go, whatever you're going through, whenever you are afraid, He is right there with you. He will never leave you, He will never forsake you.
