Intended for Good

in God's Care Pain/Suffering

I'm Ron Moore with today's Bible Minute.

You're familiar with the story of Joseph, right? His brothers hated him; sold him into slavery. In Egypt he was falsely accused and wound up in prison. From prison, he got called before Pharaoh and was appointed second-in-command. As second-in-command, he saved Egypt from a famine, and then he saved his own family. His brothers, naturally, were expecting retaliation.

But here's how Joseph responded in Genesis 50:20. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

I want you to know that God never wastes our time. We may go to our grave not understanding how some of the pieces fit at all. But the truth remains: God does use all things to work together for good to those who love Him.
