Once and for All

in Holiness

Here's Darrell Bock with today's Bible Minute.

Hebrews 10:12-14 says, "He sat down at the right hand of God, where he is now waiting until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet. For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy."

We'll be made holy for all time; once and for all. As Darth Vader says, it is your destiny.

Now to be made holy means to be set apart, set apart for service for God. And our relationship with Him rests on an unbroken foundation that does not depend on what we do but on what He has done. Forever, for all time, Jesus finished it on the cross and starts it again with new life.

This ongoing, permanent relationship with the living God should bring us not only comfort in our everyday lives, it should bring us service, prayer and thanksgiving. That is our destiny.
