When you're dealing with sorrow or loss, do you include worship? Job did. Here's today's Bible Minute.
Job is a man who had every reason to be happy. But he also had every reason to be sorrowful. God allowed Satan to touch Job's life in just a dramatic way. In Job chapter 1 we read that Job received word that his servants were struck down. Then his livestock. And his camels. Finally, a messenger comes and tells him that a great wind had struck the house his children were in ... and killed all of them. What did Job do? Job 1, verse 20 tells us, "Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped."
When the worst happened, Job worshiped. Worship is a key to dealing with sorrow.
