BTTB.ai - the Back to the Bible Digital Librarian: a crucial part of our Spiritual Formation System

Scribe is a scripture‑centered digital librarian that helps everyday Christians and ministry leaders build a short, repeatable daily spiritual fitness routine that creates discipleship momentum. It pairs a user’s present spiritual struggles or growth areas with theologically vetted content from the Back to the Bible library and then leads a simple routine with 4 action steps to Read Scripture (1), Reflect on it (2), Respond that Scripture into one’s life (3), and Reveal it to someone else (4, discipleship step).

What it is:

Scribe asks the user to name a single struggle (for example, anger, worry, loneliness, doubt). With one clarifying question if needed, it selects relevant content and delivers one piece of content at a time with a brief explanation. Immediately after, Scribe guides the user through the 4 R’s: a focused Bible passage to read, a short reflective prompt, a concise prayer plus a single micro‑practice to try today aimed toward discipling others. With memory capabilities of the digital librarian, user can establish self-accountability routines with regular check ups. This can become beneficial for habit formation and spiritual transformation and growth, especially for those users who need anonymous help.

Why it’s different:

  • Video-first but Bible‑centered: each session uses one short video as catalyst, keeping human preaching and Scripture as the foundation of daily engagements while the AI and digital capabilities can enhance the personalization and anonymity of the interaction. All while staying within very firm theological constraints at a system level prompt and within the vetted content library.

  • Minimal friction: no long plans or many choices—one struggle/growth area, one video, one short disciple‑forming routine.

  • Theologically cautious: content and responses are Scripture‑rooted and avoid therapeutic or medical claims as well as straight up preaching or even coaching; when needs exceed scope, Scribe encourages pastoral care or professional help.

  • Suited for diverse users: clear language and a compact flow make it accessible for older adults, busy parents, new believers, and ministry leaders.Ministry leaders especially can utilize additional platform capabilities to aid with sermon preparation or other work / study tasks.

Key features

  • Curated and vetted content including video content and research-based, personalized delivery / rationale based on where the user is spiritually.

  • Guided daily routine of 4 action steps: Read (Scripture), Reflect (on Scripture based on asked question(s)), Respond (Scripture into one’s life through a short curated prayer + micro‑practice), Reveal (share Scripture with someone else).

  • One‑line accountability/share option and light progress memory to tailor future sessions, form spiritual habits and aid in spiritual growth and disciplemaking (ultimate life transformation).

  • Built‑in escalation to pastoral or other support for crisis or serious needs.

The new AI “Librarian” personalizes discipleship at scale, curating Bible verses, devotionals, and podcast clips to each user’s needs like a 24/7 spiritual mentor. Crucially, it only pulls from Back to the Bible’s Scripture-based content (key when 72% are wary of AI in faith), so guidance is customized and biblically sound. This innovation drives deeper engagement by delivering the right Word at the right time for each individual.
