All-Sufficient

Published 6/10/19

By: Michael and Tiffany Ross

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Family Quest

Grab a puzzle off the shelf and have everyone work on it together. Once it’s complete, take out a few of the pieces and see if it still looks like the same picture.

Talk It Out

· Did the picture look the same without all the pieces?

· Discuss the “big picture” of life. Who holds all the pieces to the puzzle of our lives?

· How can you receive all the pieces from God?

Parent-Child Connection

This topic connects well with the other devotions that discuss the characteristics of God. He is all we need. And He uses all of His abilities and traits to help us know Him better. His power, love, and mercy (not to mention all of the others) come together for our benefit. This amazing diversity makes Him all-sufficient.

Talk to God

As you pray, encourage your child to (1) thank Jesus for providing all the pieces for his future and (2) ask the Lord to help him have a heart open to God’s direction.
