READ
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
2 We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly. 3 As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul, Silas and Timothy had the Thessalonian believers on their hearts and in their prayers. They were reminded of their faithful work, loving deeds and enduring hope. This was all because of what the Lord Jesus Christ had done for them. Those in Thessalonica had a significant impact on Paul and his companions. Their respect was reciprocal.
REFLECT
As you think of others in your prayers, do you have similar things you can thank the Lord for in their lives? Do others see these qualities in your life?
RESPOND
With your friend, read Ephesians 1:15-18 to see what Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus. These are things you can pray for others.
