2 Peter – Week 2 – Day 1

Among the Chosen

2 Peter 1:10-11 

10 So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. 11 Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

It is one thing to trust in Jesus as your Savior, but are you living in such a way others realize this? Previous verses mentioned growing in your knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you doing this? Do others see the difference in your life? Those who live to glorify Jesus in their lives will have “a grand entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Do your friends see by your life that you love Jesus and are seeking to honor Him by the way you live? 

RESPOND 

Visit with a fellow believer about others seeing Christ in your life. Read Ephesians 4:20-32 and think about what this passage says. Are you living out these instructions?
