READ
2 Peter 3:14
14 And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.
This is Peter’s charge to his readers. Because of what will occur in the future they should live “peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.” This would indicate the believers have Christ in them and they wish to live in a way to honor Him. In this day of turmoil internationally, nationally and domestically, a peaceful and blameless life will be strong testimony for the Lord.
REFLECT
Is it your desire to live a pure and blameless life? This is to live differently than the immoral world.
RESPOND
Read Philippians 1:9-11 to see what the apostle Paul told the believers in Philippi how to live. Such a life would cause the world to take notice and ask individuals how such is possible. This will give an opportunity to tell others about Jesus who made it possible.
