2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. 2 Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer.
Paul gave prayer requests. He wanted the believers in Thessalonica to pray for him and his companions. He also wanted prayer for the gospel message to spread quickly and to be respected wherever it went. He and his companions were facing enemies of the gospel, and he asked these friends to pray they might be recused from them.
REFLECT
Never be embarrassed to ask others to pray for you. Paul set an example for you.
RESPOND
With your friend, make a list of prayer requests to share with each other. You could also use these requests to share with others as you ask for prayer.
