READ
2 Timothy 2:20-21
20 In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. 21 If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.
Paul drew an analogy about believers being like household utensils. Some are special; others are useful but not special. Believers who keep themselves pure will be used for honorable use. Believers should desire to live in such a way that God can use them as a clean, special vessel for His purposes. This reveals that God is most pleased to use pure lives to accomplish His will.
REFLECT
Is it your desire to be the best for Jesus that you can be? Do you want to share with others what He has done in your life?
RESPOND
One of the greatest testimonies a believer can give is a changed life. Meet with another believer to talk about what changes Jesus has made in both of you. Then consider memorizing a short testimony you can give whenever a spiritual conversation is possible. This way you will never wonder about what to say.
