READ
2 Timothy 4:22
22 May the Lord be with your spirit. And may his grace be with all of you.
Paul concluded his letter to Timothy with a reference to grace. Paul had spent his unsaved life trying to earn salvation by his own good works. When God turned his life around when he was on the road to Damascus he was forever thankful for God’s grace. This caused him to write Ephesians 2:8-9 and other passages telling his readers that no one can be saved by keeping the law or by doing good works.
REFLECT
Is the grace of God uppermost in your mind as you think about Jesus dying and paying the price for your sin?
RESPOND
Visit with a friend about the grace of God that you have experienced. Because of believing in Jesus for salvation you will never come into condemnation, as John 3:18 and Romans 8:1 assure you.
