One thing human beings are good at is fixing things. Hardly a day goes by where we don't express some opinion about how something--or someone--else could be improved. And often, someone get's hurt. But it is possible to help, we just need the right attitude. And Cassie is here today with some encouragement from Scripture that will help you--help others.
Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
Reflect and Respond: Review today's passage and make a mental or actual list of the attributes of God's love. Keep that list in mind and go forward in faith today.
Prayer: Father, help me better understand the completeness of your love so that I can extend it humbly, truthfully, and faithfully. Amen.
