READ
Galatians 6:9-10
9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
Many Christ-followers are weary. It takes physical energy to have a spiritual ministry. Paul encouraged them to keep on with their good work. Note this should be done for everyone but especially for fellow believers. Paul reminded Christ-followers there would someday be a harvest of blessing if they did not give up.
REFLECT
Do these two verses encourage you? Do they cause you to want to do more for fellow believers?
RESPOND
There are so many worthy needs in the world, but one cannot meet them all. Talk with a friend about all the appeals we receive asking for help. How do you discern those you are able to help and those you need to depend on others to help? You can at least pray that others who are willing and able will step forward to help.
