Getting Started…

“In the beginning God…” In Genesis we see the full majesty of God on display. From awe-inspiring acts of creating, to walking with Adam in Eden, God’s love and holiness fill every page.  

In this verse-by-verse study we’ll take a close look at this important Book of the Bible. We’ll follow God and His interaction with man from Adam’s first breath to the scattering of the people at the tower of Babel. We’ll see the loving care with which God first formed Adam and the plan He puts in motion when sin entered His creation. 

In this study of Genesis, we'll cover in detail the first eleven chapters of this foundational book. Watch for part 2 of our study of Genesis coming soon. 

Dr. Harold J. Berry is a former professor of Bible and Greek at Grace University of Omaha. He served for many years as personal assistant to Theodore H. Epp, founder of Back to the Bible. Dr. Berry holds a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity from Grace University.
