God Stands Ready to Forgive - July 21

You'd expect that hearing the words, "I forgive you" from someone else would be the end of a bad incident. But all to often, we're not so quick to forgive ourselves. Gary is here today to share some wisdom from the Bible that will help you live in freedom.

Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:21For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Reflect and Respond: The lie: You are unforgivable. The truth: God stands ready to forgive.

Prayer: Father, help me believe the truth that forgiveness was won for me at the cross. I confess my sins today and ask for Your forgiveness. I do believe that You forgive me and I thank You for that. Help me to stand firm on Your promises. Amen.
