If you've gone through a divorce, you know how difficult it can be to pick up the pieces and move on. But it is possible. Join Brenda today as she shares some encouraging words from the Bible that helped her after her divorce.
Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Reflect and Respond: Where do you find hope in today's passage? Here are several more hopeful verses to encourage you today: Isaiah 40:31; Philippians 1:6; Psalm 33:18; Romans 5:5.
Prayer: Father, divorce is so painful. Today I pray for Your unending mercy to touch my life, and the lives of others who have suffered because of it. Please heal, restore, and renew my life according to Your plan. Give me hope through your word, and enduring faith that rests in Your everlasting presence. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
