Lone Wolf - July 18

Updated: Jul 30

Have you ever tried collaborating on a project with someone else only to have it end up being twice as hard as it should be? Experiences like that make it easy to want to "go it alone" at times. But before striking out solo, take a moment to join Mark as he shares some encouragement from Scripture about the wisdom of sticking together.

Bible Verse: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Reflect and Respond: While being part of a group can be challenging depending on your circumstances, we do have technology that we can use to our advantage. Who might you call, text, zoom, email, or send a card to today?

Prayer: Father,  I ask for your guidance and blessing as I reach out to _______ today.  May we both benefit in our connection with each other, through You.  Amen.
