Philippians - Week 3 - Day 5

Philippians 1:30 

30 We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it. 

Sometimes people are given the impression that the Christian life is an easy life. Paul never portrayed it this way. He reminded the Philippian believers that they and he were in this struggle together. In verse 27 he had mentioned “fighting together for the faith.” The Philippians had seen Paul’s struggle in the past and they knew he was in the midst of a struggle now as he was imprisoned for preaching the gospel.

How do you present the gospel to others? Do you present an easy life to them if they would just trust in Jesus as Savior?
