Philippians - Week 7 - Day 2

Philippians 3:10-11 

10 I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead! 

Paul’s passion was to draw closer to Jesus. He wanted to experience His power, and he was even willing to suffer with Him and die for Him. Paul realized all of this could occur by being a martyr for the faith, but he had confidence that he would also experience being resurrected from the dead. In no way did he consider living for Jesus would be an easy life.
