READ
Philippians 3:15-16
15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. 16 But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.
Paul was presenting a radical belief in living for Jesus to the degree of being willing to die for Him. Paul wanted the spiritually mature to agree with him. If they disagreed, he wanted them to be open to God making His plan clear to them. Whatever their spiritual level was, however, Paul wanted them to hold on to that level and not lose ground. They did not have the blessing present today in having the entire Bible available to them. But whatever they knew, he wanted them to retain it.
REFLECT
What is the degree to which you are willing to serve Jesus? Are you committed to remaining faithful to what God has already revealed to you?
RESPOND
Read Romans 8:28-29. Many are familiar with 8:28 but do not read on to see what God is doing by working all things together for good. Is verse 29 being fulfilled in your life?
