Stay Focused - July 12

It's easy enough to become distracted when say, studying, or trying to work. But when distractions creep into our spiritual lives, the loss of focus can lead to some dark days. Laura shares some of what she's learned from the Bible about staying focused.

Bible Verse: Colossians 3:1-4

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Reflect and Respond: How will you stay focused and alert to the reality of heaven today?

Prayer: Father, please open my spiritual senses to be alert and focused to Your promises.  I look forward to all You have promised through Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Amen.
