"These Scripture verses came alive and were an anchor to my wife Helen and me back in February 1990. We sensed the Lord was calling me to leave my career to attend Bible School.
We believed we were hearing from God, so we took the step of faith and said, yes! Through a series of divine appointments and sovereign guidance, the Lord led us all the way. In a nutshell, we moved from Maine to Tulsa, Oklahoma in early July for both of us to attend Bible school. In a time when sales of homes were slow, our home went under contract in three days from a listing in our local Sunday paper. It hadn’t even had time to get posted on the multiple listings yet.
Initially, our sense was only for me to attend school, but by the time we moved, we knew my wife too was to attend. The Lord directed us to a wonderful Christian school for our 5 and 7-year-old children to attend while we were at school. He provided me with employment, a beautiful home, etc., etc.
ONLY GOD could have orchestrated all of this within a few short months … to Him be all the Praise, Honor, and Glory!"
