Titus - Week 3 Day 4

RECEIVE 

Titus 2:6-7 

 ⁶ In the same way, encourage the young men to live wisely. ⁷ And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. 

Paul told Titus what to teach young men. He was to teach them to live wisely. Paul wanted Titus to be an example to them by the way he lived. Paul did not want Titus to preach one way and live another. The way he lived should “reflect the integrity and seriousness” of his teaching.  

REFLECT 

Are those who teach you living as Paul wanted Titus to live? Are you living in such a way that younger ones see you as an example for them to follow? 

RESPOND 

Discuss with a friend how you both could be better examples to younger ones in the faith who are watching you. Also, you should look up to those who are examples to you.
