Titus - Week 4 Day 3

RECEIVE 

Titus 2:12-13 

 ¹² And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, ¹³ while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. 

Paul instructed believers to turn from the world and turn to God. Believers are to be set apart from the evil world system and focused on their God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus will catch up believers at the end of the Church age when He appears in the air (see 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). He will return at the end of seven years of Tribulation at His second coming to earth (see Revelation 19:11-16). 

REFLECT 

No prophecy has to be fulfilled before Jesus comes to catch believers away. Are you ready should He come today? 

RESPOND 

It is important to be ready to meet Jesus at any time. See 2 Corinthians 6:1-2. Urge people not to put off trusting in Jesus for salvation. No one has a guarantee that he or she will be here tomorrow.
