Over the past several weeks, we've explored some of the most important spiritual disciplines God uses to shape us into the image of Christ—prayer, Bible reading, fasting, journaling, and more. We never want these disciplines to be “check the box” requirements, but knowing where we are in our disciplines is a starting point toward growth.
I want to help you not only to know where you are with your disciplines, but also to think about where you need growth. That’s why I’ve created a simple Spiritual Disciplines Inventory. This brief tool is designed to help you reflect honestly on your current habits and identify areas for renewed focus. It’s not a scorecard to impress God or others—it’s a mirror to help you see where you might need to take your next step of obedience and growth.
I encourage you to set aside a few quiet moments this week to download and complete the inventory. Pray through your responses. Invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you about one or two disciplines where you might lean in more intentionally this season. Once you’ve finished the inventory and decided which disciplines need work, go back to read the posts about those disciplines in this blog series. I pray this review will help you keep growing!
You can access the inventory here:
