Back to the Bible’s Future Is at Risk — You Can Help Secure It

Hell has quietly disappeared from many pulpits. But without it, have we forgotten what Jesus really came to save us from?
Back to the Bible faces a funding crisis, but lives like Lori’s—rescued, redeemed, and transformed—remind us why this work must go on.

Lives like Lori’s are why Back to the Bible exists.

She was at rock bottom—hooked on drugs, pregnant, and overdosing in a hospital room. In her desperation, she made a deal with God: “If You give me a healthy baby, I’ll raise her in church.” That bargain could have ended there. But because of your generosity, Lori was met with more than mercy—she encountered the truth of God’s Word through our spiritual fitness resources. Today, Lori is clean, sober, and raising her daughter to know Jesus.

Now imagine that outreach suddenly disappearing. That’s the crisis we face today.

I never imagined I’d have to write this — but today, I must.

Back to the Bible is facing a serious financial crisis. An expected estate gift of $900,000 — earmarked to fund our ministry work this year — has been significantly delayed. While we believe those funds will eventually arrive, the immediate cash flow gap threatens our ability to carry out the mission God has entrusted to us.

We’ve taken action. Just last week, we made the difficult — but necessary — decision to shut down our GOTandem mobile app. Although once cutting-edge, the app is no longer effective or financially viable in today’s digital environment. This decision alone will save over $1 million annually and allow us to redirect focus to proven and growing platforms.

But eliminating costs isn’t enough. We need to raise $900,000 in emergency support to continue the vital work of digital discipleship while we wait for the delayed gift.

This isn’t the end of Back to the Bible. In fact, it’s the beginning of something stronger and more sustainable.

Here’s what’s thriving—and why your support now matters more than ever:

Every dollar you've given has been invested in building biblically grounded believers.

Just this month:

  • 30,000+ people engaged in our spiritual fitness surveys and challenges — quietly, without registering.

  • 5,000+ users participated in daily customized Scripture workouts and prayer tools.

  • 40% of comments praised God. 30% were heartfelt prayers. 25% cited Scripture.

  • 30% were prayer requests showing deep community connection.

  • 25% referenced Scripture, demonstrating lives being anchored in God's Word.

Now, because of our cash crisis, we are doing more than just cutting costs. We are taking this opportunity to strategically refocus our efforts on what God is calling us to do next. We're doubling down on impact by:

  • Making BacktotheBible.org and YouTube our central hubs for free, life-changing spiritual content.

  • Developing an AI-powered Spiritual Fitness Coach/Bible Librarian to guide seekers and believers through Scripture based on their own identified spiritual needs.

But we cannot keep going without your help.

Will you give a one-time emergency gift today to help us raise $900,000 and continue transforming lives like Lori’s?

This isn’t just about sustaining a ministry. It’s about fueling a movement. One that brings the Bible back to the center of people’s lives, equips them for every spiritual battle, and connects them to Christ daily.

Your gift right now is the difference between ministry momentum and ministry shutdown.

Thank you for standing with us in this crucial hour.
