Colossians – Week 6 – Day 2

READ 

Colossians 3:3-4 

3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. 

These verses give reasons for the truth of verses 1 and 2. Believers should focus on heavenly things rather than earthly ones because their lives are “hidden with Christ in God.” They have spiritually died with Christ by participating in His death by believing in Him as Savior. All Christ-followers will share in His glory when Jesus is revealed to the world. 

REFLECT 

As a believer in Jesus, you spiritually died with Him. You have now been raised to a new life. Share your new life in Christ with others.

You and your disciple need to read Romans 6:5-11 that expresses more about believers participating with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection.
