READ
Colossians 4:12-13
12 Epaphras, a member of your own fellowship and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings. He always prays earnestly for you, asking God to make you strong and perfect, fully confident that you are following the whole will of God. 13 I can assure you that he prays hard for you and also for the believers in Laodicea and Hierapolis.
To learn more about Epaphras, see what Paul wrote in the beginning of this letter in 1:6-8. They had learned the gospel from him. Epaphras was also a diligent prayer warrior for them. Paul described his prayer life that should have been greatly appreciated by the believers in Colosse. Observe what he prayed for them.
REFLECT
Have you had the privilege of leading others to a knowledge of Jesus? If so, are you praying for them as Epaphras prayed for those who heard the gospel from him?
RESPOND
As you pray for believers, read Ephesians 3:14-21 to see what Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus. Notice his concern was more for spiritual needs than physical ones.
