INTRODUCING THE FAITHFUL OVERTHINKER

A word from Braden Pedersen
Picture one person. He grew up in church. Somewhere in his twenties the questions got louder than the answers, and he stopped asking them out loud because nobody around him ever made it feel safe. Today he would never click on a Bible study. But he still lies awake some nights wondering whether any of it was true.
He is who I had in mind when we started building The Faithful Overthinker.
His questions are not fringe. Does God actually exist? Can the Bible be trusted? Is what it says about sexuality and marriage even defensible anymore? How can a loving God condemn people for being who they are? Millions of ordinary people are carrying those questions right now, mostly in silence, sometimes in anger.
We are not building a show where every question gets wrapped up in twenty minutes. We are building a place where a skeptic, a doubter, or a burned-out former church kid can hear someone take the question seriously before asking him to believe anything. The people we want to reach stopped trusting quick answers a long time ago. They may still trust an honest conversation.
I believe this is one of the most important things Back to the Bible can do right now. The people who need the gospel most are the ones least likely to look for it in the usual places. So we are going to where they are, confident that God’s Word can stand up to the hardest question anyone brings to it.
What it takes to get there is concrete: episodes to plan, conversations to record, audio and video to edit, distribution to pay for, and follow-up resources so the person who listens has a next step into Scripture. Your gift helps pay for every one of those pieces. The show launches soon. Your support decides whether it launches strong.
