You Have Wearied Him

Malachi 2:17 

17 You have wearied the LORD with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. You have wearied him by saying that all who do evil are good in the LORD’s sight, and he is pleased with them. You have wearied him by asking, “Where is the God of justice?” 

Malachi continued to use questions and answers to make his points. He posed a question from the priests as to how they had wearied the Lord. They were calling evil good and yet wondering where the God of justice was. They did not believe in justice because they were not distinguishing right from wrong. 

REFLECT 

Are you sensitive to distinguishing right from wrong? Give an example. 

RESPOND 

That which is right is related to righteous. God is completely righteous because He always does what is right. Read 1 John 3:7-8 in this regard. Talk with a friend about this and be concerned about doing what is right and in doing so to reflect God’s character.
