Malachi - Week 6 - Day 1

Malachi 3:16 

16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name. 

Think of this! God has a “scroll of remembrance” of those who fear Him. They not only feared God but also “thought about the honor of his name.” This is a significant reminder of what should be done today. Christ-followers should talk to each other and remember the Lord is listening. Regrettably, not all who say they have believed in Jesus are concerned about fearing Him and honoring His name. 

REFLECT 

How is it with you? Are you talking to other believers about the Lord? It is one thing to believe in Him as Savior, but quite another to fear Him and honor Him with your life.

With a Christian friend, read Romans 8:31-39 and contemplate the wonderful truth that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
