STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
Paul wrote a second letter to Timothy, and it's probably the last letter of his that we have. Written from prison, Paul reflects on the blessings of fellowship he with Timothy and others. He reminds us to be grateful for the believers we have in our lives, and he encourages us to be that faithful friend to someone else.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Forgiving others is hard to do. What makes it harder, though, are the misconceptions we may carry about what forgiveness entails. Kelsey is here today to shine some light on what forgiveness is and is not. And she'll take us to the Bible to encourage us to be forgiving to those in our lives who need it.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Forgiving others is essential for life in God’s kingdom, yet it’s very unnatural – even radical to our human hearts. So, where do you start? Coach Gary Dunker lays out some crucial first steps for walking the path of forgiveness.
Pray that God would open up your heart to forgive someone who has hurt you. Seek opportunity to meet with this individual and openly forgive them for what they have done. If this person is not reachable, ask God to help you forgive them every time they come to mind.
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Forgiving others is among the most difficult things we'll ever have to do, but God will provide help. Join Sean as he leads our daily prayer time.
