God's Word teaches, corrects, and trains. It makes you complete and equipped for the good work God has planned for you! So jump in and enjoy today’s spiritual fitness workout! "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
The apostle Paul wrote a short but important letter to his friend Philemon. In this letter Paul asks for a personal favor, but before he gets to that, he reminds us of the familial obligations we have towards each other as believers. And then Paul introduces us to Onesimus and talks of the friendship he shared with him.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Work is hard. Even when it's easy work, staying focused and staying on task can be incredibly difficult--especially when it's a nice day out! If you're feeling the pull of procrastination today, take a minute--just a minute--to join Sam for a Spiritual lift from the Book of Proverbs.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Are you prone to putting things off, ignoring the inevitable, or waiting until the last moment? Donna Amidon helps you break this cycle of procrastination with a simple yet powerful proverb.
Think of one thing that’s been hard for you to do. Then, as an act of kindness to your future self, take the next step toward accomplishing that task.
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Bryon leads us in prayer today. Join us as we pray to be more like god day by day.
