STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
Our works will never save us, but that doesn't mean they aren't important. As Paul continues his letter to the Corinthians he addresses those who wanted to continue living in sin and immorality. Join us as we dive into why it's important that the Christian life looks different.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
You probably sang that old song about sticks and stones when you were younger. The one that ends with, "...but names will never hurt me." It's a nice thought, but we all know how sharp and knife-like another person's criticisms can be. Mark is here today with some encouragement from the Bible that will help you put those sharp words back in their sheath.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Criticizing others is treacherous behavior that kills relationships and damages your own heart. Spiritual Fitness Coach Faith Sherrer helps you cultivate a change of heart over comparing, complaining, and criticizing!
Pray every day this week for the people you criticize the most - those who annoy you or have hurt you, or those you compare yourself to. Pray blessing over them. Also, pray that Jesus would totally transform your mind!
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Do some make it hard to love them? Join Doug for our prayer time today as we ask for God's love to flow through us.
