Your Daily Spiritual Work Out - December 17

INTRO: SPIRITUALLY FIT | TODAY

Arnie Cole and Bruce A. discuss overcoming spiritual numbness and finding renewal in God's word, even when reading the Bible feels empty. They share personal experiences, practical habits, and the importance of grace over guilt. Today's focus is on Hebrews 4:12 and how daily spiritual habits can revive faith, offering hope for those struggling to reconnect with scripture after burnout or hardship.

STEP 1 - RECEIVE

(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)

The Great Commission would be a lot easier to carry out if people always believed the Good News. But, there are other forces at work in the world conspiring to keep people in the darkness. As Paul continues his letter, he'll talk about the trials he has faced and give us encouragement to never give up.

STEP 2 - REFLECT

(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)

Ever wonder about the little town of Bethlehem that would become Jesus' birthplace? There's some special significance to that name. Join Chase today as we prepare our hearts for Christmas, and feel free to sing along to this Christmas favorite!

STEP 3 - RESPOND

(How will you Win Today?)

One of the names of Jesus – Mighty God – is a beautiful reminder of the strength and peace that Christ provides. Coach Nat Crawford takes a close look at this powerful name to encourage you and help you focus on what truly matters during this season!

Bring your concerns to God in prayer. Be honest about your struggles and ask Him for the strength to face each challenge. Allow Him to guide you, calm your spirit, and refocus your heart on what truly matters during this season!

STEP 4 - REVEAL

(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)

With Christmas coming up soon we all have a tremendous opportunity in front of us. Despite what else is going on in the world, we have the opportunity to bring someone new to church and let them encounter Jesus for the first time. Arnie leads our prayer time today asking God for the boldness and the opportunity to invite new believers to the flock.
