INTRO:Â SPIRITUALLY FITÂ | TODAY
In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole and guest Brad Davies, VP at Salem Media Group, discuss the challenges Christians face with online group think and maintaining an authentic identity in Christ. Explore how social media pressures can shape faith expression and learn practical ways to seek God’s approval over public applause. Featuring insights on digital culture, authenticity, and spiritual growth, plus a reflection on Galatians 1:10.
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
There's an old saying that goes, "those that can't do, teach." But when it comes to the Christian life, we should all be doing both. We teach the next generation best by living out our Christian ideal and morals. Paul encourages us to live a godly life as he continues his letter to Titus.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Did you know that lies are a liar? It's true. Because instead of making our lives easier, like the lie promises, lies almost always make our lives that much more difficult. As a teacher, Madison has seen this in her students. And as a Christian, she knows of a better way to live from the Bible that she'll share with you.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Sometimes, the most dishonest things we wrestle with are our thoughts about our identity. Coach Alex shares how he knows this kind of struggle first-hand, and how God reminds him of the honest truth and helps him live accordingly!
Meditate on the good news that God made you His masterpiece for His good works. Reflect on how He has changed you and used you for his good purposes to impact other people's lives! Your identity is not given to you by people's definitions or assumptions, but by the God who saved you!
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Lies hurt us; not just those who hear them, but those who tell them too. Sean is leading our daily prayer today asking for God's help in keeping our speech pure.
