INTRO:Â SPIRITUALLY FITÂ | TODAY
In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole welcomes back Pastor Braden to discuss how temptation often disguises itself as good, drawing from 2 Corinthians 11:14 and real-life examples like cohabitation. They explore the importance of discernment, accountability, and biblical truth in navigating modern culture’s moral challenges, emphasizing the need to recognize and resist deceptive temptations.
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
As we continue in Hebrews we'll cover a rich passage of the Bible with two of the most important truths for us to know. The Bible is God's Word and is a powerful resource in our lives. And Jesus, far from being a distant and aloof God, lived as a man and can sympathize with us in all our weaknesses. Praise God with us as we study some more.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
We like to say that the grass is greener on the other side. But when was the last time we really took a good look at the grass on our own side? Jon is here today to share some wisdom from the Bible that will help us appreciate the abundant gifts God has already given.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Never satisfied? Always wanting more? Coach Sherri Kreps helps you put an end to discontentment with a change in focus, a change in perspective, and a change in attitude!
If you want to win today over discontentment, 1) Intentionally SEEK things above by pursuing the things that matter to God. 2) SET YOUR MIND on things above by intentionally thinking about the things that matter to God.
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Pride can lie hidden in our lives and sap our joy. Join Asa as we pray for contentment in our lives.
